Terms of Service

1. The Service

UnlockCareer is an AI-powered platform that helps professionals analyze and improve their professional profiles for international remote job opportunities. Our features include AI-powered resume and LinkedIn profile analysis, with additional features being added over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform. By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account

You must sign in with a valid Google account or register with an email address and password to use the Platform. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You may only create one account per person.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is false, misleading, or belongs to someone else
• Attempt to access other users' data or bypass security controls
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Resell, scrape, or redistribute the Platform's content or AI outputs
• Abuse usage quotas or attempt to circumvent rate limits

5. AI-Generated Content

Our Blueprint features are powered by AI (Anthropic Claude). You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated scores and recommendations are advisory, not guarantees of job placement or interview success
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it
• Generated reports should be reviewed by you before taking action

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or provide, including your resume and LinkedIn profile information. By uploading or submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it through our AI services for the purpose of providing the Platform's features.

We do not sell your content or use it for purposes other than providing the service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its analysis methodology, scoring system, templates, user interface, and underlying technology, is owned by UnlockCareer and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Platform.

8. Payments and Refunds

Payment is processed through Stripe. Prices are displayed in USD and are charged at the time of purchase. Credits are sold as a one-time purchase and are non-recurring.

Each credit pack includes multiple analyses so you can refine your results over time. Credits are consumed one at a time, each time you generate an analysis. Unused credits are not refundable and cannot be transferred to other users. The number of analyses included per credit pack may change at our discretion.

Refund Policy

Due to the immediate delivery nature of our digital service, all sales are final once the first analysis has been generated. By clicking “Generate Resume Transformation Blueprint” or “Generate LinkedIn Profile Blueprint”, you acknowledge that:

1. The service will be performed immediately upon your request
2. Once an analysis is generated, that credit is fully consumed
3. You waive any cooling-off or withdrawal period that may otherwise apply

If you experience technical issues that prevent delivery of the service, contact us within 7 days at hello@unlockcareer.ai for assistance.

Not satisfied with your results?

Each credit pack includes multiple analyses for this reason. Review the feedback, improve your resume or LinkedIn profile, and run a new analysis for updated results. If after multiple attempts you still believe the results are inaccurate, contact us at hello@unlockcareer.ai with details for our review.

9. Usage Quotas

The Platform operates on a credit-based system. Each credit can be used for one analysis (Resume Transformation Blueprint or LinkedIn Profile Blueprint). Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused credits expire after the 12-month validity period. We reserve the right to modify credit pricing and features with notice.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. AI features depend on third-party services (Anthropic, Supabase) and may be temporarily unavailable during high demand or outages.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, UnlockCareer is not liable for:

• Decisions made based on AI-generated analysis or recommendations
• Job application outcomes or employment decisions
• Loss of data due to service interruptions
• Actions taken by third-party services
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UnlockCareer, its officers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) your use of AI-generated content, (c) content you upload to the Platform, or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@unlockcareer.ai.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform or sending an email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
