As the company develops its consumer-facing platform, it is looking for a Full Stack Developer with a strong frontend focus to build intuitive, responsive, and visually polished user experiences.

About the Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer — Frontend Focus who combines strong frontend engineering skills with solid full-stack fundamentals and excellent attention to user experience.

You will be responsible for building the consumer-facing application that allows users to explore their homes, browse furniture, experiment with layouts, and interact with existing 3D environments.

Working closely with the designer, you will transform designs, coded prototypes, and tokenized design systems into production-ready interfaces.

You will also integrate product data, APIs, application state, and backend services to create seamless, reliable user experiences.

This is primarily a frontend-focused product engineering role, not a 3D engine development position. The core challenge is building the application around an existing Three.js experience, connecting its interactions to the broader product.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who enjoys building polished interfaces, solving complex interaction challenges, and taking ownership of features from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development & User Experience

• Build and maintain responsive, high-quality consumer-facing web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Transform designs, coded prototypes, and tokenized design systems into production-ready interfaces.
• Develop intuitive navigation, furniture selection, layout browsing, and editing experiences.
• Collaborate closely with designers to refine interactions, visual details, and overall usability.
• Implement polished animations, motion effects, and transitions that enhance the user experience.
• Ensure consistent behavior across desktop and mobile devices.
• 3D Experience Integration
• Connect frontend interactions to an existing Three.js-based 3D environment.
• Integrate furniture selection, layout changes, and editing controls with the 3D experience.
• Implement reliable application state management to keep the interface and 3D environment synchronized.
• Build save, restore, and persistence functionality for user configurations and layouts.
• Collaborate with engineers responsible for the 3D experience to ensure smooth integration.

Full-Stack Engineering & API Integration

• Integrate external and internal APIs, product data, and backend services into the application.
• Implement robust loading, empty, error, and recovery states.
• Develop or modify supporting backend endpoints and persistence mechanisms when necessary.
• Coordinate API contracts and data structures with backend engineers and data pipeline owners.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend and backend components.
• Contribute to scalable, maintainable application architecture.
• Performance, Quality & Ownership
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and browser compatibility.
• Test complete user journeys to identify usability issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and reliability through appropriate testing and engineering practices.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features, from implementation to deployment and iteration.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve product usability, engineering workflows, and application performance.

Required Qualifications

Frontend Engineering

• Approximately 3–8 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on frontend development skills.
• Excellent proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proven experience building and shipping production applications using modern frontend frameworks.
• Strong experience with component-based architecture, responsive design, and application state management.
• Ability to translate designs and prototypes into polished, production-quality interfaces.
• Solid understanding of browser performance, frontend debugging, and cross-device compatibility.
• Strong attention to UI details, usability, animations, and interaction quality.

Full-Stack Development

• Practical experience integrating REST APIs or equivalent backend services.
• Understanding of server-side development fundamentals, databases, and data persistence.
• Ability to develop or modify backend endpoints when required.
• Experience debugging technical issues across frontend and backend systems.
• Familiarity with scalable application architecture and maintainable software engineering practices.
• UX & Product Engineering
• Strong understanding of user experience principles and interactive application design.
• Ability to reason through complex user interactions, application state, and user journeys.
• Good judgment regarding visual polish, spatial interactions, motion, and transitions.
• Experience collaborating with designers and translating product requirements into functional interfaces.
• Ability to balance user experience, technical feasibility, and engineering quality.

AI-Assisted Development

• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents and AI-powered development tools.
• Ability to leverage AI for research, implementation, debugging, testing, and documentation.
• Strong engineering judgment when reviewing and validating AI-generated code.
