Job Search Strategy

You receive 10-15 curated positions at companies that hire remote from LATAM, matched to your stack and seniority. During the session, you go through each one: why this company is a good fit for your profile, how their hiring process works, what to write in your first message, and exactly who to reach out to. No more spray-and-pray. Every application is intentional.

Session 3

Mock Interview: Technical Screen

A high-fidelity simulation of a US technical screen. Not just coding. Deep-dives into Big O with space/time tradeoffs, probing fundamentals like concurrency and scalability, and evaluating how you communicate your reasoning in real-time. For data professionals, the focus shifts to SQL optimization, Python data manipulation, and pipeline architecture. Unlike Pramp or LeetCode, nothing is assumed: gaps are identified and corrected on the spot.

You leave with: Honest, direct feedback on your technical communication and problem-solving. You'll know exactly where your gaps are and what to focus on before a real interview. No surprises.

Session 4

The Senior Bar: System Design & Behavioral

The round that separates senior from mid-level. A 90-minute intensive combining architecture and behavioral storytelling. System Design: you tackle a high-ambiguity prompt (e.g., design a notification system for 10M users, or a feature store for ML) and you're evaluated on how you drive the conversation and justify tradeoffs. Behavioral: the best predictor of future performance is past behavior. Your strongest stories are stress-tested using the frameworks US companies actually use.

You leave with: Direct feedback on how you compare to what US companies expect at senior level. Where you're strong, where you're falling short, and what to fix. No sugarcoating.

Session 5

Mock Interview with Mariana Mavila

Mariana spent years at McKinsey interviewing senior professionals, then went on to facilitate 600+ placements of LATAM talent into US companies as a hiring manager and founder of Mavila Consulting. This session simulates the final round: a conversation with a founder, CTO, or someone senior who has the power to say yes or no. At this stage, your technical skills have already been validated. What matters now is presence, narrative, and fit. Why you want this role. What drives you. Whether they can see you as a partner, not just a hire.

Why this matters: The final round isn't technical. It's where offers are won or lost, and it's the round nobody prepares you for. Mariana gives you real-time feedback on your narrative, your presence, and how you come across in the room.

Session 6

Your Call: Closing Strategy or Second Technical Mock

This session adapts to where you are. If you have offers or are in final rounds, we focus on salary negotiation built specifically for remote LATAM contractors (where the rules are completely different from US employees) and on how to evaluate and close the right deal. If you'd rather measure your technical evolution, you can repeat Session 3 or 4 and see how much you've improved since the first time.

Why this matters: Most LATAM professionals accept the first offer without negotiating. Understanding how compensation works for remote contractors, and having someone in your corner who's negotiated hundreds of these deals, changes the outcome.
